The Gospel is truly Good News. Everyone who has lost a loved one to death knows that
something about the universe is broken. No matter how ardent a materialist one might
be, there is an innate knowledge that tells us: this isn’t right. Jesus came to begin the
restoration process. He has promised us a Kingdom in which there is no loss and no
sorrow. And yet many people stop up their ears and refuse to even hear the Good
News.
